2006年,Keke在倍受好评的获奖电影Akeelah and the Bee中领衔主演Akeelah Anderson.之后不久,Keke又出现在电影Tyler Perry Medea Family Reunion中,影片蝉联两周票房冠军.随后她在Disney频道的热门影片Jump In!中饰演主角,在电视屏幕中同样大放光彩.在拍摄电影Akeelah后不久,Keke与Atlantic Records公司签约.
在电影发面获得巨大成功后，喜欢唱歌跳舞的Keke又把目光放在了音乐上，这个可爱的小女孩声音是极其可爱的，像支温柔听话的小猫，你总是会对她的嗓音产生莫名的好感！作为黑人歌手，当然R&B是首选曲风，Keke的风格和Cassie,Auburn,Paula DeAnda是很相似的。希望年纪轻轻的Keke可以在演艺界扩展出自己的天空！因为她实在太让人羡慕和惊讶了~不是吗？
